Lilongwe Wildlife Trust was established in 2008 when they opened the doors to Malawi’s first wildlife sanctuary, Lilongwe Wildlife Centre. Since then they have grown to become one of the country’s leading conservation NGOs. Their mission is to save wildlife, campaign for conservation justice and inspire people to value and protect nature in Malawi.
Emergency Wildlife Rescue is proud to partner with Lilongwe Wildlife Trust to support the immediate response to wildlife emergencies, including rescue equipment, transportation, medical supplies and other logistical needs as well as support for the medical treatment and rehabilitation of injured or orphaned wildlife.
